"TRUE COLORS": selected large-format limited edition prints on fine art canvas and archival art paper by artist Cheryl Gaines.
About "True Colors":
My original works are layered mixed media pieces that combine paint, collage, drawing, texture and colors applied to heavy archival paper and mounted onto wood panel board. The dimensions I generally prefer are 22x22 inches. When I initially conceived of producing limited editions of selected pieces, I enlarged the originals images to 36x36 inches, with the intention of printing at that size on artist canvas. Then, on reflection, I also decided to print at 24x24 inches on heavy handmade paper. The results, printed by an internationally recognized atelier, yielded powerful imagery and saturated colors that have exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to sharing them with you at this special event. -- Cheryl
